Grandma and Grandpa Green (and Chubby) February 1972

On Christmas 1971 my grandparents were given a tape recorder. They lived about 7 hours away from the rest of their family and used the tape recorder to send greetings to their children and their families. Here is one we received February 1972.

    Thanks again for sharing this with me. I love it!!! I was listening to more recordings this morning and as soon as I heard your Grandma’s voice my eyes teared up. I miss both of them so much. We’re going leave to go see Nancy in a little while. The area down here was hit by tornadoes again yesterday and we’ll be heading in the direction of all the destruction. Nancy and the rest of her family were very lucky. Love you, Aunt Ginny
