Happy Birthday Mom

My mom was born 90 years ago on this day. I think about her often and even after nearly 10 years I sometimes have the urge to call her and tell her something that I think would interest her, usually about how much I am loving being a grandmother.

Chef Lassen

Andrew and Alex were at the cabin this weekend and asked if they could drop Lassen off on the way home so they could get some things done before the work week began. Of course we said yes. We decided to make them dinner and take it to their house when we dropped off Lassen. We made vegetable biryani and a few Indian inspired sides.

Lassen loves to help cook and even clean up. She enjoys measuring and pouring what she measured into a vessel. She was especially perfect today.
