The cabin

We bought a cabin in October 2023 and visit about twice a month. Dean was up last week to get it ready for Andrew and Alex but I had not been there in a while. It’s relaxing here — the snow is nearly all gone.

I had a couple tasks to do — laundry from Andrew and Alex’s visit and charge the bird camera. The camera is probably charged but it’s nighttime and I don’t want to deal with it in the dark.

More cooking

We made a new recipe for dinner — beef rouladen. It was Dean’s idea because we had some flank steak in the freezer. It was delicious. I’ll definately make it again. Dean made crepes with blueberry filling for dessert. Yum!

We had a fire, cocktails on the deck at 5 (which is our tradition here), and watched a very bad film (The Lost Bus).
